1. Theses two baffles are designed to increase the presure. Baffles are to decrease the area for the gas to to through. The more the pushing force is, the farther the cannonball will go. Also, these two baffles are metal. Metal is good conductive material. So they can conduct heat very well in order to create a better surrounding area for the burning.

2. The shaking of the stack of cans is to ensure that everywhere in the cannon is fill with fuel. The launching will be more powerful if ethnol can be reacted very well. Shaking is done to permeate ethnol compeletly for a better result.

4. Propellant. gasoline, methanol, liquid hydrogen, and butanol can be also used in place of the ethnol.

5. One of the Newton's laws is applied is Newton's third law, reaction and action. Accroding to Newton's third law, it states that for every action force, there is an equal and opposite reaction force. When the cannon ball is pushed out of the cannon, the cannonball also pushes the cannon backward. They are action and reaction.
