Geographic, Magnetic and physical pole
Basically, Earth's magnetic field is produced because of the flow of hot liquid metals inside Earth. However, Geographic pole is just designed from the axis that the Earth rotates at. So becase of the different definiton, the Magnetic pole is not exactly the same as the Geographic pole. The magnetic pole is based on the strong magnet force inside the Earth. But, as we know, the north pole is attracted by the south pole. In this case, the magnet inside the Earth, which we call as physical pole, has south pole to the magnetic north pole. In a word, we have physical south pole directs to the magnetic north pole.
